A River of Syrup

On January 15th, 1919, Boston experienced a disaster unlike any other. A massive tank filled with molasses burst open in the city's North End, unleashing a wave of sticky sweetness that raged through the streets like a tsunami. The flood, soaring to 25 feet in some areas, was catastrophic. Buildings were flattened under the force of the unstoppable goo.

The aftermath was tragic. Twenty-one people lost their lives, and many more suffered injuries. The flood also caused extensive damage to property, leaving a trail of sticky residue in its wake.

The City of Boston's Sticky Nightmare

The city/Officials/Local authorities are working to clean up/contain/investigate the sticky situation, but until then, Boston is left navigating/scrambling/dealing with this sticky/treacherous/tacky predicament.
